LUNA AND HER FRIENDS BATTLE THE BAD MAN
With my four young friends I battle the Bad Man who is becoming totally mad and tries to shoot me with a gigantic shot gun.
The people and animals of Charleston are terrified, but the forces of good are gathering quickly.
In this sequel to my Autobiography I introduce you to the boys of the Gang of Four. It represents my transition from an inexperienced super cat to the master detective I become later on.
You also meet Charlie, the harmless ten year old intruder who is terrified that the police will get him. Charlie is a fugitive from injustice who is falling through the cracks in society; can he land on his feet?
We discover the connection between Charlie and the Bad Man.
With color pictures.
This book is most suitable young people aged from 7 to 16 although I hope everyone will read it.

This short book is impressive in so many ways that I don’t know where I should start. It is much more than just a bedtime story told from a cat’s point of view.If I am to point out just one theme of this little gem, it is the beautiful notion that we all may be surprised if we look at some individual members of other species with open eyes.
We read some remarkable stories about Luna the cat in this book. Some aspects resemble more fairy tales than real accounts of cat’s life, e.g. Luna's understanding of Facebook, being an artistic hyperbole of the simple truth that members of different species often surprise each other in a good way. Yet other passages also reveal some fascinating facts about cats and other animals including humans. There are also some cute mentions that probably fall somewhere in between the categories of facts and fantasies, being real examples interpreted in a very creative way.
I especially like the passage where Luna explains why some cats gently carry living mice in their mouths and bring them home: “Many cats are able to release enough mice near where they live to establish breeding colonies of mice in the house they live in as a reserve in times of mouse shortage.” Isn’t that quite impressive?
But this book shows that humans can impress cats as well. Luna (just as most cats) tends to look down upon humans sometimes: “Charlie was a boy who had fallen through the cracks in society. I hoped that he would land on his feet when he hit the ground. If he were a cat he would have done, but Humans are poor at landing on their feet.” Nonetheless, Charlie the homeless boy with whom Luna shares her cat food will surprise Luna and the Gang of Four (her young human friends).
As I have already suggested, some achievements of both Luna and Charlie are a little bit unrealistic, but they just highlight the remarkable truth that many individual members of different species can surpass each other’s expectations -- if only we open our eyes.

Queen Luna and the Gang of Four Luna books Book 2 edition by Luna Challis Steve Challis Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews
As I read this story, I felt as a five year old girl, surrounded by the beauty of innocence and the charming gleams of fantasy. We can be that queen we were as kids...
This book is very well written it and it was hard to put down. You'll fall in love with Luna the cat and the Gang. Ms. Challis does a great job developing these characters and making you care about them. While its most suited for younger teenagers, this a book that adults can enjoy as well.
Very cute. A view of the happenings at the book post and surroundings as seen through the eyes of Luna the cat. There are adventures, danger and treats from the gang. Luna is brave and is very opinionated about snakes, foxes, stupid people and other animals. Let's look forward to the next Luna adventure.
Generally a very interesting book for kids. It's funny to see the world through the eyes of the cat Luna and the other animals. The writing is entertaining and the book also includes pictures of the different animals, which I think will make it more interesting for the younger kids since most of them like to see pictures of animals.
I was a little bit skeptical about buying a book written by a cat, but not anymore! This is a wonderful childrens book about day-to-day happenings from the perspective of a cat and her four human children friends. It is wonderfully creative and I think most adults will enjoy the authors clever observations while the kids will be entertained at the same time. I'm planning on picking up another one in the next few days. Really, it the most enjoyable read I've had in months, and I continued reading after putting the kids to sleep.
