I'm not one to write a review for much of anything, but after reading this book, I felt like I should. I stumbled upon this after looking for books that might help me to understand, and hopefully connect to, my sister. I was really pleased with this one. There were times when I cried, and laughed, and completely connected to different characters in the story. I liked the way this author brought me into her world, and I was able to see myself in things as simple as a conversation. The heroin of this story is not your average "perfect grades, perfect family, perfect life" kind of person, and to see the mistakes and struggles that she made shows a really human side to her that was easy to connect to. Great job, Ms. Stone. I'd recommend this book to all my friends, and anybody else who might listen.

This book touched my heart, a must read for any teen that is struggling in life, or struggling with their sexuality. Ms. Stone does an amazing job of connecting to the reader like no author I have ever seen in my life. Absolutely amazing all around.
